I am a qualified Menopause Coach, 11 years + a Pilates Teacher, a Low back Pain Practitioner and a qualified Hypopressives Teacher. Founder of Menopause Couch© Ltd and Millstream Pilates Ltd.
I am also a wife, a cat mum and a lover of all things bike related, having completed many mountain stages and MTB challenges.
My passion in helping women and families through peri to post menopause and all the genitourinary, biomechanical and psychological challenges comes from my own experience of premature ovarian insufficiency.
Being finally diagnosed at 39, having had peri menopause symptoms since my mid to late 20’s has been life changing; and this all took place at a time where there was limited clinical help available and very little guidance on how to gain it.
I have been through emergency laparoscopic surgery for ovarian torsion; followed up with an unilateral oophorectomy, combined with a diagnosis of Hashimoto’s thyroid disease and adenomyosis. Finally resulting in a Total Hysterectomy in July 2024.
I know what it’s like to have to start again from the ground up and finding the right people to help you can be a part of this trauma.
My approach to helping you with your hormone journey is a culmination of my qualifications, years of personal and professional experience and the amazing specialists I’ve been lucky enough to met along the way that helped me to get back on my bike in the right way!
Having qualified as a Menopause Coach with Burrell Education, I’m delighted to be able to offer courses, webinars and 121 bespoke sessions to help support and sign post others on the possibilities of turning your health around to make the best version of you…. WHAT EVER LIFE THROWS YOUR WAY! And believe me, I know how difficult it is!
I have studied extensively in bio mechanics, including bone health, pelvic health, neurological conditions, sporting performance, breath work and nervous system regulation.
I take a holistic approach, with genuine empathy, care and with the awareness that you are unique. 🤍
